We can laminate paper from 130gsm upwards and sheet sizes up to B1. The laminate is a thermal laminate and the types and thicknesses are as follows;

Gloss Laminate is 24 microns thick,

Matt Laminate is 27 microns thick,

Silk Laminate is 27 microns thick,

Soft-touch Laminate is 32 microns thick,

Anti-scuff Laminate is 28 microns thick.

Laminating provides a more durable finish to paper and is critical if the paper is to be used for paper-over-board products as they require extra strength to cope with creasing or turning in. If the paper has been printed it is important to ensure the printing has had sufficient time to dry before it is laminated, failure to do this can result in de-lamination on the finished product.
